1-50: Anthem Combined Bill & ID Cards for Groups with Medical, Dental, Vision

Anthem is pleased to announce that new1 Small Group clients (2 to 50 employees) with Medical and Dental Prime & Complete will enjoy the convenience of our combined administration services, starting with effective dates of October 1, 2015 or later. As you know, Small Group clients with Medical and Blue View Vision have received combined administration. Now, with the addition of Dental Prime & Complete, Anthem's combined administration services will be available for Small Group clients with Medical, Dental and Vision.

What are combined administration services?
Anthem's combined administration services allow new Small Group clients with Medical, Dental Prime & Complete and/or Blue View Vision business to enjoy these administrative conveniences:

When can I start offering combined administration services to my clients?
Anthem's combined administration services are available for new1 Small Group clients with an effective date of October 1, 2015 or later. But new business cannot be accepted for set-up and installation on the ISG (Individual and Small Group) system until after August 14, 2015, when the combined administration services function becomes active.

No changes to Dental Prime and Dental Complete plans
Last month, Anthem announced a refined portfolio of Dental Prime & Complete plans for Small Groups. Continue to quote these pla​ns using the Broker Rate Calculator. Anthem is updating the Small Group Quoting Tool to include Dental Prime & Complete plans. This will let you include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability products in one comprehensive quote.

1 New Small Group clients are defined as having either (1) Dental Prime & Complete written with new Medical and/or Vision coverage or (2) Dental Prime & Complete being added for the first time to an existing Small Group clients’ Medical and/or Vision coverage.
