1-50: Anthem’s Campaign to Retain Your Clients

As 4th quarter 2015 quickly approaches with lots of Small Groups renewing, Anthem wants to make you aware of their efforts to help your clients understand their options. You may recall that last year Anthem launched a retention campaign around Small Group renewals. The response was positive. In fact, 76 percent of surveyed employers said they took action as a result of that campaign. And 37 percent said the campaign directly influenced their renewal decisions. 

After such favorable results from last year, Anthem is launching another employer retention campaign this year. Similar to last year, they'll send emails and a direct mail letter to your Small Group clients. All of this is to help your clients know their options as they near their renewal period, so they'll decide to stay covered with Anthem.

Of course, their options will differ depending on the type of plan they have. For example:

Your clients need you
Some of your groups may have tough decisions to make, and Anthem knows they can rely on you during this challenging time. Throughout their campaign messages, Anthem will encourage your clients to reach out to you for any assistance they need.

In the coming months, Anthem will send you a revised Producer Toolkit to help you guide your clients. This kit includes materials employers can use to communicate changes to their workers. It also has resources you can use if you need to move group members into individual coverage. And you'll find links to Anthem's coverage calculator tools and a decision making tutorial to help you and your clients decide what type of plan best fits their needs.
