1-50: Delinquent Notices Sent to Employers in Error

As part of the Q4 premium rate adjustment notices that were sent earlier this month to October-December 2014 renewing small group members, some of Anthem's groups may have received delinquent policy notices in error.  As a reminder, in working with regulators, the California Department of Insurance (CDI) and the Department of Managed Health Care (DMHC), Anthem announced the following:
 
 
Due to these adjustments, the process of canceling incorrect bills and reissuing correct rate notices inadvertently triggered delinquent notices to be sent to some groups in error.  This issue has since been resolved and these groups have not been canceled due to this oversight.
 
We wanted to provide you with this information as you may have been receiving calls and inquiries from your clients.  We apologize for this error and any inconvenience this may have caused you and your clients.
