2-50: New Renewal Kits Launching with August 2012 Renewals

Effective with 8/1/12 renewing groups, Anthem Blue Cross is launching a new, streamlined renewal kit concept.

Anthem expects it to make group renewals easier than ever for your groups. And for you.

The folder is gone. So is the clutter. Now the renewal materials are in a bound package that features a customized cover that's unique to each group. There are also tabbed index pages that separate key renewal materials into five sections.


  1. What's new - includes information on new plan offerings, benefit changes and other important updates.
  2. Current rates and plans - features each group's current rates and plans.
  3. Alternative plan options - includes quotes for plan options that may save the group money. Also includes benefit comparisons for quoted plans.
  4. How to make changes - gives instructions and materials for making plan changes.
  5. Legislative and other updates - details state and/or federally mandated updates.

Anthem research shows groups give this new design a thumbs up.
