51+: Mental Health Parity Benefit Changes Effective November 1, 2009

Federal Mental Health Parity (MHP) Benefit Changes
for the summary of changes that are effective upon renewal for all Pooled and Non-Pooled groups (51 or more employees) and 51-99 EmployeeElect groups on or after November 1, 2009.
There is a special effective date for collective bargaining union groups. The MHP requirements do not apply to these groups until the later of January 1, 2010, or the date on which the last collective bargaining agreement relating to the plan terminates.
