bpQuote has introduced a Portfolio drop-down box on the Dental Plan Selection page. This will allow you to quickly select all of a Carrier’s dental plans at once. For example, if you are quoting Anthem Blue Cross dental, this feature lets you select all of the dental plans that fall within their specific portfolios while ignoring the rest.
bpQuote has improved the way users can manually alter the order of the Medical Plans shown in the reports. Previously, there was a single Up & Down arrow that allowed the user to rearrange a Plan one space up or down at a time. This could be time-consuming. Now, bpQuote provides additional arrows, allowing the user to move a Plan all the way to the top or to the bottom of the list with one click.
Since Blue Shield eliminated the majority of their pre-January 1, 2012 Medical plans, the Current/Renewal section in bpQuote will not display a RENEWAL plan. Instead, you will see "No Renewal Plan" as the RENEWAL option, but if you select the drop down box you'll see the 2012 downgraded Blue Shield plans the group may renew on.
bpQuote now has a feature that will allow you to show the cost of Medical Riders added to specific plans on the Multi Option & Final Rates for Multi Option reports. To do so, you will need to select the riders you want to add to each plan during the Medical Plan selection process.
bpQuote has recently added two portfolios for Anthem’s Prime & Complete Dental plans to the Dental Employee Worksheet section of the Proposal Options page. Groups with Prior Dental Coverage Groups without Prior Dental Coverage (which will result in higher rates). For enrollment purposes, a New Group can choose to offer a single Prime & Complete plan, two Prime & Complete plans or they can offer the Dental Net HMO plan alongside a single Prime & Complete plan.
