Health Care Spending Projected to Grow by 8.3 Percent in 2014
A new study projects that modest increases in health spending will ramp up by 2014 when new subsidies under the health reform law are in effect, and that the federal government share of health spending will increase to 31 percent by 2020.

Utah Passes Insurance Rate Bill, Georgia Sets New Rate Review Rules
Georgia's rate review process will be modified to provide more information to consumers, while Utah has a new law with new rules for insurance rates.

CMS Halts Some Illinois Medicaid Reforms
Illinois passed a series of Medicaid reforms last year, but the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has rejected two of the 15 reforms.
