Congressional Republicans Question Essential Health Benefits Bulletin
Republican leadership in the House and Senate assert that a recent essential health benefits bulletin evades important cost-benefit impact analysis, and they are requesting that Health and Human Services (HHS) respond to Congress with the analysis by January 27.
Other highlights include:
- A number of state legislatures across the country have reconvened or are about to, and health insurance exchange legislation is on many agendas.
- California legislators have introduced essential health benefits bills in the wake of new federal guidance.
