Dear Broker,
 
In our effort to produce greener, simpler and more effective ways of conducting business, we are proud to announce a conversion to electronic premium delinquency notices. This process change will replace the current paper letter that is generated for cases with premiums not received. Our new billing system will send a reminder notice to the client, via email, on the 13th of the month.  Then, if payment is still outstanding, a second email will be sent at the end of the month (30th/31st) with a copy to you, the broker. Our system is set up for auto-cancellation by the 4th of the following month so it will be very important to follow up on these premium delinquency emails.  As a reminder, premiums are due on the 1st of the month.
 
As always, broker commissions are contingent upon premiums received.  By copying you on these delinquency notices, we hope this information will help you to avert auto-cancellation on behalf of your client. Our Account Representatives will no longer initiate contact with the clients regarding delinquency issues, but rather will follow up with you regarding delinquency trends among our mutual clients.  It is our hope to dedicate the full resources of our Account Representatives to excellent customer service for our mutual clients.   As always, they will remain available to provide supplemental training on our billing procedures when needed.

The delinquency notices will contain the necessary information for the client to contact our billing unit and, if applicable, the ability to make an online payment via Employer Access.
