Anthem Requesting Member’s Permission to Email

Mar 03, 2016

Anthem wants to stay in touch with their members, but only to help them get the most out of their health care coverage. So Anthem is reaching out to members they haven't emailed before. They are sending them personalized tips and information about their health benefits. But Anthem will always give them a way to opt out of these emails, if they don't want to receive them.

The email going out this month explains what Anthem is doing and how they intend to keep members in the loop about:

Anthem would like their permission to keep sending members emails. That's why they let them know they can unsubscribe at any time and stop receiving them, if they choose to do so.

Anthem wanted to make you aware of this campaign, in case any of your clients ask you why they're receiving emails from them.  Also, they won’t try to sell them anything through these emails. They just want to help current members get the most out of the plan they have.
