Enhancement to Aetna's Non Payment Broker Notification

Last year Aetna began notifying their Small Group brokers via email when their customers were past due on their premium payments. This service allows brokers to stay more connected with their clients, providing the opportunity for brokers to influence customer payment behavior.
The broker community continues to welcome this process and opportunity for partnership. Brokers have also shared with Aetna that they would like to receive all of their clients who are late in payments via one email, as opposed to separate emails per client.
Aetna is pleased to share that effective September 17, 2009, if a broker has more than one customer group on the late payment list, Aetna will consolidate all customer groups into one email. If you have any questions, please contact
