MyHealth Advantage Embedded for Groups 2-99 Effective January 2010

Dec 03, 2009

During these tough economic times, Anthem Blue Cross (Anthem) and Anthem Blue Cross Life and Health Insurance Company are giving clients something to smile about. In March 2009, Anthem embedded the MyHealth Advantage program for 51+ groups (excluding Student Health groups and 51-99 EmployeeElect groups). Starting January 1, 2010, Anthem 360° Health®'s MyHealth Advantage program will be automatically embedded for all Fully-Insured groups in California including small groups and 51-99 EmployeeElect groups.

As insurance costs continue to rise, Anthem anticipates that this added benefit may help retain existing clients and attract new ones.

MyHealth Advantage uses member claims data to identify gaps in care and cost savings opportunities for members and then sends a confidential, personalized MyHealth Note to members alerting them of changes they can make to better comply with medical best practices.

To find out more about MyHealth Advantage, view the Fully Insured Sales Slick or read the FAQ's.  Affected members will receive a mailer in 1st quarter alerting them that they now have the program and could receive a MyHealth Note if a health opportunity is identified.

Note: This program was automatically included effective March 1, 2009 to fully-insured, non-refunding groups of 51 or more at no additional cost (excluding Student Health) .

Better health. Fewer costs. That's what Anthem 360° Health is all about.
