CHOICE Administrators announced today a new agreement with Sutter Health Plus that will add 12 new health plan options for groups enrolling in CaliforniaChoice, the Small Group private exchange that has been serving Californians for nearly 20 years. Quoting for brokers will begin September 15, 2015, for coverage effective December 1, 2015 or later for groups in the Greater Sacramento, Central Valley, and Sonoma County areas.
“Health care provider choice is an important consideration when selecting health coverage,” said Ron Goldstein, president and CEO of CHOICE Administrators. “By adding Sutter Health Plus to our health plan network options, CaliforniaChoice will be able to address the needs of more businesses, employees, and dependents. That’s a significant advantage for California employers, and the brokers who serve them.”
The addition of Sutter Health Plus to the CaliforniaChoice program expands employer and employee options to eight health plans, 18 provider networks, and dozens of health maintenance organization (HMO), preferred provider organization (PPO), exclusive provider organization (EPO), and health savings account-compatible plan designs.
