Following are recent negotiations for Aetna, and their current status:
Southern California
Monarch Healthcare Medical Group - has been added to Aetna’s Value Network effective January 1, 2011.
Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital in Valencia - is terminating from Aetna’s Los Angeles network for all commercial products.
Tri-City Medical Center in Oceanside - negotiations completed, and will remain in Aetna’s San Diego network.
Riverside Medical Clinic in Riverside – will be terminating from Aetna’s AVN network effective February 1, 2011. Aetna will continue to have Riverside Medical Clinic in our Full HMO, Deductible HMO and MC/PPO networks. Members of the Full and Deductible HMO networks may have received notices of termination last month. The agreement to retain the Full and Deductible networks is a recent change.
Central Valley
Fresno Surgical Hospital in Fresno – negotiations completed. Fresno Surgical Hospital will remain In Aetna’s Central Valley
Northern California
El Camino Hospital in Mountain View – negotiations completed with no interruption to member access.
Community Hospital of Monterey Peninsula (CHOMP) – Effective December 31, 2010, CHOMP will be terminating from Aetna’s Northern California network. Effective 4/1/11, physician specialist with exclusive admitting privileges to CHOMP will be terminating from Aetna’s Northern California network.
University of California Davis Medical Group in Sacramento – has terminated from Aetna’s HMO networks effective January 1, 2011. Negotiations continue with UC Davis Medical Group for all non-HMO commercial products.
