UHC Eliminates Majority of HSA Bank Fees Effective October 2015

As part of the ongoing commitment to improve Optum’s health savings account (HSA) consumer experience, the company has eliminated more than 10 miscellaneous fees common among bank competitors, which may help consumers save even more for their health care needs. 

Optum no longer charges the following fees:

This change went into effect October 1, 2015. Since these fees are incurred by all Optum Bank HSA account holders only, customers will see no change to their billing arrangements.
