Updated UHC Mail Service Member Select Flyer Available

As a reminder, UnitedHealthcare’s Mail Service Member SelectSM program helps members better manage the medication they take on a regular basis through OptumRx® Mail Service Pharmacy. The program is being implemented across UHC's fully insured accounts and will be offered as a buy-up for self-funded business.

An updated in​formational flyer is now available to help support employers in member conversations about the Mail Service Member Select program. 

After two fills at a retail pharmacy, the program requires the use of home delivery for medication that is taken on a regular basis. However, the member can choose to decline mail service and continue filling their maintenance medication at a retail pharmacy at their normal cost share amount. If a member does not take any action, all additional fills may be at the full out-of-network cost.  

Participation in the mail service helps decrease disruption and provides more flexibility for members. Mail service pharmacy also presents potential cost-savings for the member.
