New PPO B-12 Plan and Open Enrollment Details
Delta Dental has announced that they are implementing an Open Enrollment policy for inforce groups and new business beginning January 1, 2012. Groups eligible to take advantage of the new Open Enrollment policy are groups that allow employee contributions to be made on a pre-tax basis, and that are enrolled in Delta Dental's Small Business Program Classic or Options plans.

  • Classic Plan B plan is being discontinued to new enrollments effective January 1, 2012.
  • The new PPO Plan B-12 is available for quoting now and new business beginning with January 1, 2012 effective dates.
B-12 Benefits

Other Details Regarding B-12
  • Groups currently enrolled in the Classic PPO B plan may continue to offer those benefits (or they can move to another Delta Dental plan).
  • When compared to the Classic Plan A, there is a slight rate impact for the B-12 plan design.
  • Classic Plan C continues to be the high-end PPO dental plan.

  • Delta Dental PPO plans include standard dental implant coverage, no waiting periods and they have no missing tooth exclusions.
  • The D&P Maximum waiver option allows members to stretch their annual maximum and it promotes wellness through preventive care.
