NCEBC is partnering with NCHRA to present the “Open Enrollment Best Practices” program that will include fresh ideas, tips and hot button issues needing special attention. In addition, learn the latest online enrollment trends and other technology features that can enhance this year’s open enrollment process. PLUS -- Since Congress has yet to introduce a formal bill and the situation is constantly changing, there will be an update about the Health Care Reform from a policy expert.

- Jennifer Benz is an award-winning communications consultant and writer. Her firm, Benz Communications, specializes in employee benefits and health care communication. Jen is a contributing author for Employee Benefit Adviser and Workforce featured blog Benefits Buzz and has published articles in many industry publications, including many on social media and how it applies to employee communication. - Beca Tomcho joined ClearBenefits in 2005 bringing a wealth of benefits and insurance experience with her. She began her tenure with the sales team but soon joined the management team to broaden the education, marketing/sales and broker partnership opportunities nationwide. During this time, she has played a critical role in management of key client and broker relationships. Her primary duties include sales, marketing/branding strategy, broker relationship building and training, coordination of multiple entities including interface efforts with benefit carriers and internal technical teams, developing communication programs that provide service and support to clients and their employees regarding system related matters.
- Tony Mader serves as Health Policy Director for WellPoint, Inc, the parent company for Anthem Blue Cross of California and 13 other Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans across the U.S. He manages public policy development and coordinates with the company’s Government Affairs staff on legislation and regulation impacting the business. Located in Sacramento, he is responsible for state issues in California, Nevada, and Colorado, with an emphasis on the individual market and health care reform initiatives. Before to coming to WellPoint, Tony served as a Budget Analyst for the California State Department of Finance, working on the Medi-Cal program, and focused primarily on cost-control initiatives and legislation impacting the program.
