Aetna COBRA Administration
As part of Aetna's continued commitment to the small group market, they have expanded their small group portfolio offerings beginning January 1, 2009 to include optional fee-for-service federal COBRA Administration for groups with as few as 20 lives.
They’ve expanded their relationship with Flexible Benefit Service Corporation (Flex) to provide optional federal COBRA administration services for group sizes 20 - 299. Flex, a full-service third party administrator with expertise in the smaller-sized market, also administers Aetna’s Small Group cafeteria plan services and the Aetna HealthFund HRA for Small Group.
To your clients, it will appear as if Aetna is administering COBRA, as all of the marketing collateral and forms will be Aetna branded.
