Introducing Anthem's New President, Pam Kehaly
On August 30th, Pam Kehaly became president and general manager of Anthem Blue Cross of California. In this position, Pam will be responsible for the management of all local group health care business in California including sales, account service, marketing, underwriting and plan delivery. She'll also be responsible for maintaining customer relationships. In addition, she'll be leading the development of Anthem's long-term strategic direction and their collaboration with local and state elected officials to improve the health of Californians.
Pam has a proven record of delivering results. Her extensive experience in P&L management, strategic planning and operations management will be an asset to Anthem's California team and their commitment to delivering outstanding service to their customers and members throughout the state.
She has nearly 25 years of health care industry experience, including senior leadership sales and operational roles at Aetna and WellPoint. Most recently, she served as president of national accounts at Aetna. Prior to that, Pam led Aetna's West Region National Accounts division. And before joining Aetna, she worked in a variety of sales and operations leadership positions in WellPoint's California market.
Pam also serves as a board member of Adaptive Business Leaders and is an active member of the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Los Angeles Division.
Anthem Blue Cross has made significant strides in improving the health of their members and customers by working closely with hospitals, providers and regulators. And with Pam's leadership, Anthem looks forward to continuing the positive relationships with them as they work to address California's most difficult health care challenges.
