​CaliforniaChoice announced updates for July 1, 2017 effective dates. Rates are available for quoting through the Choice Administrators Export button in bpQuote. Rates are expected to be live in bpQuote April 13, 2017.

RATES

Medical: 

  • A RATE PASS has been offered by Sutter Health Plus and Western Health Advantage.
  • Anthem Blue Cross, Health Net, Kaiser Permanente, Sharp Health Plan and UnitedHealthcare will adjust rates.

Ancillary: RATE PASS

PLANS

Medical: The Sharp Health Plan Silver HMO C has a retroactive change effective April 1, 2017 to its Ambulance benefit; the new Ambulance benefit is 50% (deductible waived), changed from 50%.

Ancillary: There are no changes to Ancillary plans effective July 1, 2017.
