​CaliforniaChoice announced updates for October 1, 2017 effective dates. Rates are available for quoting.

Rates

Medical:

  • ​​A RATE PASS has been offered by Health Net and Kaiser Permanente
  • Anthem Blue Cross, Sharp Health Plan, Sutter Health Plus, UnitedHealthcare and Western Health Advantage will adjust rates

Ancillary: RATE PASS​

Plans & Benefits

​Updated Medical Plans

Anthem Blue Cross, Kaiser Permanente and Western Health Advantage will implement some minor benefit changes retroactive to January 1, 2017. 

Zip Codes

Health Net has made the following zip code changes:

  • ​Removed 92515 (Riverside County) from WholeCare, PureCare and Salud HMO y Mas
  • Removed 94209 and 94286 (Sacramento County) from WholeCare and PureCare

UnitedHealthcare has added 93451 (San Luis Obispo County) to the Alliance network. 

Forms

New forms will be needed beginning October 1, 2017.
