Aetna and Sutter Health to Form Health Care Joint Venture in Northern California

Aetna and Sutter Health are launching a new jointly owned health plan. The new joint venture will bring new, affordable insurance plan options to the greater Sacramento, Central Valley and Bay Area communities in 2018*. The collaboration is designed to deliver high-quality, fully insured and self-insured commercial health care products to employers and their employees. 

Aetna and Sutter Health are focused on redefining the health care system in Northern California by reducing costs and removing administrative hassles. Together, they're focused on finding solutions that modernize health care. Their shared vision is to:
