Certain Aetna plans with 1/1/19 – 6/30/19 effective dates listed incorrect benefits for Outpatient Surgery & Non-Preferred Rx. These errors affected benefit summaries, SBCs, and any quotes in bpQuote. All three sources have been corrected, new benefit summaries and SBCs are available on the B&P website.
Outpatient Surgery corrections were made to seven plans to reduce the coinsurance percentage that the member was responsible for. The seven plans affected were:
- AWH MemorialCare OA Elect Choice EPO Silver CA 60% 2000 Ded
- AWH PrimeCare OA Elect Choice EPO Silver CA 60% 2000 Ded
- AWH Providence OA Elect Choice EPO Silver CA 60% 2000 Ded
- OA Managed Choice POS Gold CA 80/50 750 Ded
- OA Managed Choice POS Gold CA 80/50 750 Ded Savings Plus
- OA Managed Choice POS Silver CA 60/50 2000 Ded
- OA Managed Choice POS Silver CA 60/50 2000 Ded Savings Plus
Non-Preferred Rx corrections were made to two plans to increase the copay from $80 to $100. The two plans affected were:
- OA Managed Choice POS Silver CA 60/50 2000 Ded
- OA Managed Choice POS Silver CA 60/50 2000 Ded Savings Plus
The benefit corrections were made in the quote engine on 2/6/19. If you generated a 1/1/19 - 6/30/19 effective date proposal for Aetna before that date & the client is still considering one of these plans, then we suggest a requote of the proposal.
