Aetna remains committed to complying with all legal and regulatory requirements that impact business operations and customers’ health benefits. The following outlines how support will be provided to Small Group plan sponsors in submitting these reports.
The submission process
- Beginning February 2, Aetna will send an email to all Small Group plan sponsors with instructions on how to submit the required data.
- Plan sponsors must complete the RxDC Plan Sponsor Data Collection Form by March 31, 2026. Required data includes:
- Average monthly premium paid by members
- Average monthly premium paid by employers
- Broker Submission Option: brokers may use this form to provide information to Aetna on behalf of their clients (starting 2/2/2026)
- Once submitted, Aetna can use the completed data to file the report on the client’s behalf.
Process for submissions that are missing or incomplete by 3/31/2026
Aetna will submit the report without the required plan sponsor data. Failure to respond will affect the accuracy of the report submitted on the plan sponsor’s behalf, and Aetna will not be responsible for any associated liability.
