Allied Benefit Suite: Plan & Rate Updates Effective July 2019
Allied Administrators announced plan and rate updates effective July 1, 2019 for the Allied Benefit Suite that will affect vision, life, and the Personal Protection Plan. Delta Dental rates remain unchanged.
Vision Updates
VSP is the new vision carrier in the Allied Benefit Suite. To learn more, please see our recent news post. Below are the three-tier rates along with the benefit summary.
- EE: $8.12
- EE + 1: $15.42
- EE + 2: $22.74
- ABS VSP Benefit Summary
Please note, current Delta Dental EyeMed groups will be moved to VSP at their renewal.
Life/AD&D Updates
Allied Administrators announced new rates for groups of 10-99 employees:
- $0.15/$1,000 Life
- $0.02/$1000 AD&D
These rates are good through May 31, 2020. Groups with 2-9 employees are still eligible for AXA Life/AD&D, but quoting must be requested through your B&P Sales Team.
Personal Protection Plan Updates
The Personal Protection Plan will now be $7 per employee per month. This change was effective June 1, 2019, and is reflected in bpQuote.
