Anthem is adjusting how they will handle anniversary date change requests effective February 1, 2019.
Beginning February 1, 2019, Anthem will allow anniversary changes for the following reasons:
- For a group to align their other product lines (Dental, Vision and Life) to the same anniversary date
- For a group to align their benefits to a calendar year
Anniversary changes are subject to underwriting review and approval. Please note: Anniversary changes can be made once in a 12-month period, new rates and benefits will apply.
