Anthem: New Small Group Commission Schedule Effective September 1, 2024

Anthem Blue Cross is updating their Small Group commission schedule, effective September 1, 2024. All new small groups will generate a 5% commission for the life of the case, regardless of premium amount. Anthem Blue Cross is providing this notice in accordance with Article III, Section 3.1 of the Agent Agreement.*

This change affects the agent compensation for Small Group Medical plans effective following September 1, 2024, and does not affect existing or future agent compensation for:

• Individual and Family Medical plans.
• Dental and Vision plans.
• Employee assistance programs.
• Senior or Medicare supplement policies.

* Anthem Blue Cross may modify or replace its commission schedule on forty-five (45) days prior notice to Agent pursuant to Section 6.6 of this Agreement, and such modified or replacement schedule shall apply to all other policies effective following the effective date of such modification or replacement.
