Anthem Promotion for Health Net Groups

As employers begin evaluating options following Health Net's exit from the commercial group market, Anthem Blue Cross is offering a special promotion designed to make the transition easier for Health Net direct groups.

Health Net Welcome to Anthem Promotion

Available for new groups effective October 1, 2026 through March 1, 2027.

Special Underwriting Opportunity

Eligible groups with 2-100 enrolled employees can take advantage of:

• Only 25% participation required
• No waiver forms needed

Submission Requirements

To qualify for this promotion, submit:

• Employer Application
• Anthem Quote
• EFT Authorization
• Most recent Health Net invoice (in lieu of a DE-9C)
• Enrollment applications or census enrollment

Please note: If a prior carrier invoice is not available, standard Anthem underwriting guidelines will apply.

Welcome Home

For groups currently enrolled with both Anthem and Health Net, Anthem is offering a Special Enrollment Opportunity for members to move to Anthem with effective dates from 10/1/2026 through 3/1/2027, as well as during the group's normal Anthem renewal period.

Welcome Back

Groups that recently left Anthem may be eligible for reinstatement within 60 days of termination, provided the group left Anthem in good standing. When reinstating, the group will be required to pay any outstanding premium owed during the lapse period.

Example: A group that terminated Anthem coverage effective 8/1 to move to Health Net may reinstate back to 8/1, but would be responsible for paying premiums for 8/1, 9/1, and 10/1 upon reinstatement.
