Anthem RxDC Form Deadline Extended to 3/24/23

Anthem Blue Cross has extended the deadline for fully-insured employers to complete their 2023 Prescription Drug Data Collection (RxDC) Submission online form to March 24, 2023. The previous deadline was March 1, 2023.

Below is the original message from Anthem on February 14, 2023:

We need your client’s premium data for the 2023 RxDC submission

We’re sending emails to Small Group and Large Group fully insured clients, Anthem Balanced Funding clients and our Small Group MEWAs in OH, MO, KY, IN or GA, asking them to submit monthly average premium information required for Prescription Drug Data (RxDC) reporting.

We are asking them to fill out this form to make sure we have the needed information.

The Prescription Drug Data Collection reporting provision of the Consolidated Appropriations Act (CAA) requires reports on drug utilization and spending trends be submitted to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. 

Starting in 2023, we are required to include information in the average monthly premium paid by member and by employer in the Premium and Life Years (D1) reporting.

To make sure your client’s data is included in our aggregate filing, please remind them to complete this form before March 1, 2023. We must receive this data to avoid non-compliance.
