Anthem Submitted the Gag Clause Prohibition Compliance Attestation

On December 17, 2025, Anthem submitted Gag Clause Prohibition Compliance Attestations on behalf of their fully insured and ASO clients for the benefits Anthem administers and maintains. The attestation includes active clients through December 17, 2025.

The gag clause provision of the Consolidated Appropriations Act (CAA) requires group health plans and issuers to submit an attestation each year to confirm compliance with the restriction on gag clauses. This attestation generally covers the period between January 1, 2025, through the date of attestation.
