Anthem: Update on Negotiations with Cottage Health System

Update as of 12/31/19: Anthem Blue Cross is pleased to announce that Cottage Health, which includes Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital, Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital and Santa Ynez Valley Cottage Hospital, has rescinded its notice of termination. The current contract remains in full force and effect.  Cottage Health provides services to members in Santa Barbara County.

Anthem Blue Cross is working closely with Cottage Health System to reach an agreement to keep them in-network for your clients. Their current contract is set to terminate effective January 1, 2020.

Affected facilities and medical groups include:

• Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital
• Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital
• Santa Ynez Valley Cottage Hospital
