Anthem's new mobile app, Sydney, is here. Sydney replaces the Anthem Anywhere app, giving members a smart, more human experience. It’s much more than just another mobile app. It’s a personal health ally powered by artificial intelligence (AI) that feels as if it’s a real person.
Sydney's interactive chat feature gives members answers right away. They find what they need with text-based, real-time, AI-driven responses to common questions - no need to call Member Services every time.
With Sydney, members can see their benefits and get access to medical, dental and vision claims all in one place. Sydney also gives members a quick view of their care team - with contact information and more (this feature is available at anthem.com/ca for desktop users, too).

Here are a few more details about Sydney and other new digital capabilities for members Anthem recently launched:
- Large Group members with the Engage Basic and Standard Wellbeing program will continue to use the Engage mobile app until their group health plan renews in 2020. After that, they’ll use Sydney.
- Small Group members now can view the new My Health Dashboard feature on anthem.com/ca. My Health Dashboard replaces the Health & Wellness Center. Members can use it to personalize health and wellness content and recommendations they receive for programs to help them achieve their health goals.
- Individual and Small Group members now have My Family Health Record (myFHR) through Sydney with easy access to health history and electronic records for medical, dental and vision care.
