Help Your Clients Find the Health Plan to Fit Their Needs

CaliforniaChoice's unique program is built around the understanding that what’s important to one person may not be important to another. They have options for everyone.

The new Plan Comparison Tool helps answer the question, “which option is best for me?” By telling CaliforniaChoice is a little bit about themselves, your clients can compare plans to find the one that best fits their needs.

With the Plan Comparison Tool, clients can easily compare plans based on:

• Monthly premium
• Health plan
• Metal tier: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum
• Plan type: HMO, PPO, EPO, HSA
• Which plans have their preferred doctor(s)

When employees use the Plan Comparison Tool during enrollment, they only need to provide the following information:

• ZIP Code
• Date of birth and gender
• The doctor they want to include in the search, if any

They’ll see the actual cost for each option after the employer contribution is applied. It’s that easy!

If employees use the tool outside of the enrollment period, they can still learn about metal tiers, available plans, and affiliated doctors. However, the premium listed will show 100% of the cost before the employer contribution is applied.
