CaliforniaChoice announced plan and rate updates for April 1, 2023 effective dates. Rates are available for quoting!

Rates

• Medical:
  • Rates are changing for Anthem Blue Cross, Cigna + Oscar, Health Net, Sharp Health Plan, Sutter Health Plus, and UnitedHealthcare
  • Rates are not changing for Kaiser Permanente and Western Health Advantage

Plan Updates

CaliforniaChoice is adding the following plan effective April 1, 2023:

• Sutter Health Plus Gold HMO C

There are zip code expansions for the following networks effective April 1, 2023:

• Cigna + Oscar LocalPlus added 1096 zip codes for out-of-state
• UnitedHealthcare Harmony HMO added 54 zip codes

Forms

Only the updated applications for April 1, 2023 will be accepted beginning with the April 1, 2023 effective date. Earlier versions will not be accepted. Write-ins or cross-outs are not accepted.

Book rates for CaliforniaChoice will be posted to the B&P website when they are available.
