CaliforniaChoice announced plan and rate updates for April 1, 2024 effective dates. Rates are available for quoting!

Rates

Medical rates are changing for Anthem Blue Cross, Cigna + Oscar, Health Net, Sharp Health Plan, and UnitedHealthcare (quarterly trends shown below, may vary by plan and region):

• Anthem Blue Cross HMO: 1.1%
• Anthem Blue Cross PPO: 1.2%
• Cigna + Oscar: 4.0%
• Sharp Health Plan: 2.7%
• UnitedHealthcare: 1.0%

Medical rates are not changing for Kaiser Permanente, Sutter Health Plus, or Western Health Advantage.

Plan & Network Updates

Anthem Blue Cross is adding 18 ZIP codes to San Diego County (Region 19) for their Select HMO network effective April 1, 2024.

Forms

CalChoice is updating their documents for April 1, 2024 effective dates. Please be sure to use the new applications as earlier versions will not be accepted. Write-ins or cross-outs are not accepted either.
