Rates

Medical rates are changing for Anthem Blue Cross, Sharp Health Plan, and UnitedHealthcare. Rates are not changing for Kaiser Permanente, Sutter Health Plan, and Western Health Advantage.

Here are the annual rate trends from Q2 2025 to Q2 2026 (trends may vary by plan and region):

• Anthem Blue Cross HMO: 10.3%
• Anthem Blue Cross PPO: 9.2%
• Health Net: 15.6%
• Kaiser Permanente: 7.3%
• Sharp Health Plan: 9.4%
• Sutter Health Plus: 33.4%
• UnitedHealthcare: 18.0%
• Western Health Advantage: 15.3%

No Plan Changes

There are no plan changes for Q2 2026, so CaliforniaChoice will not be updating applications for the new quarter, you can continue to use the Q1 2026 forms.
