- Medical: rates are changing for all medical carriers
Plan Updates
- Many plans will experience benefit updates for 2023
- Two networks are being added:
- Health Net SmartCare HMO
- Cigna+Oscar Open Access Plus
- The Anthem Blue Cross EPO and Advantage PPO networks are being removed
CaliforniaChoice is adding the following 20 plans to their portfolio (4 Anthem Blue Cross, 8 Cigna + Oscar, 5 Health Net, 3 UnitedHealthcare):

Forms
Only the updated applications for January 1, 2023 will be accepted beginning with the January 1, 2023 effective date. Earlier versions will not be accepted. Write-ins or cross-outs are not accepted.
