CCSB Plan & Rate Updates Effective January 2023

Covered California for Small Business announced rate updates for January 1, 2023 effective dates. Rates are available for quoting!

Rates

Rates will change for all carriers (average quarterly trend): 

• Blue Shield:
  • HMO: 1.5%
  • PPO: 2.2%
• Kaiser Permanente: 6.3%
• Sharp Health Plan: 0.2%

Plan Updates

Covered CA for Small Business will no longer offer Health Net as part of their portfolio.

• Existing employer groups and members will keep their CCSB Health Net PPO plan until the end of their plan year in 2023. New groups can continue to enroll through December 2022.
• At renewal in 2023, they will need to pick a new CCSB plan with another carrier or the Employer Group may consider other Health Net options off Exchange.
