Renewal Documents are Getting a Fresh Look
Starting January 1, 2024, Covered California for Small Business will be updating the look and feel of all our current renewal documents, effective on January 2024 renewals. Keep a look out for more details to come!
A Partnership That Pays

Special Enrollment Period
Covered California for Small Business will have an upcoming Special Enrollment Period (SEP) from November 15, 2023 through December 15, 2023. During this period, new small groups do not need to meet the minimum participation requirements, however eligibility requirements still apply. This is a great opportunity for new groups who might not be able to meet the standard contribution requirements to select quality coverage.
CCSB Expands Blue Shield Coverage
Covered California for Small Business (CCSB) has expanded its coverage with the launch of six (6) new Blue Shield plans that took effect July 1, 2023. All new plans will be available upon renewal.
New Blue Shield Plans Added:
- Bronze Trio HMO 7000/70 + Child Dental
- Bronze Full PPO Savings 7000 + Child Dental
- Silver Full PPO Savings 2300/25% + Child Dental
- Access+ Silver 70 HMO 2500/55 + Child Dental
- Access+ Gold 80 HMO 250/35 + Child Dental
- Access+ Platinum 90 HMO 0/20 + Child Dental
