Covered California for Small Business announced rate updates for October 1, 2019 effective dates. Rates are available for quoting!

 

Rates

CCHP and Kaiser Permanente will not change rates effective October 1, 2019. Blue Shield, Health Net and Sharp Health Plan will adjust rates. Percentages listed below show the range of quarterly rate changes across plans and regions:

  • Blue Shield: 0.8% decrease to 4.4% increase
  • Health Net*: 8.4% decrease to 2.3% increase
  • Sharp Health Plan: 11.3% decrease to 0.5% increase

 

*The Health Net rate changes include the adjustments from the rate reductions made in bpQuote on July 31, 2019.
