Rate Pass for 2025
Delta Dental is extending their current rates through the first quarter of 2025. They will provide updates for the rest of 2025 in the coming months.
Important Plan Updates
Delta Dental is enhancing their plans in a variety of ways so members get even more from their dental plans.
- Flexibility with waiting periods for new hires. If there is no break in coverage, Delta Dental will waive the waiting period for new hires in voluntary groups of 2-99 people. Proof of the member's previous dental coverage is required, which includes:
- Copy of enrollee/dependent ID card
- Summary plan description
- Screenshot of the prior carrier's website showing continuous coverage
- New age limit for pediatric dental care under DeltaCare USA. Children through age 13 are now covered for pediatric dental visits under all DeltaCare USA plans.¹
- Cone beam coverage. Cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) scans are now included in PPO plans as a major service and eligible once every 12 months.²
- DeltaVision Diabetic Eyecare Plus program is now Essential Medical Eye Care. Coverage includes retinal imaging for members with diabetes. Plus, additional exams and services beyond routine care to treat immediate medical issues.³
