DOL Announced Changes to a Wide Range of Benefit-Related Penalties

The Department of Labor (DOL) recently announced the 2020 annual adjustments of the civil monetary penalties for a wide range of benefit-related violations. The 2020 adjustments are effective for penalties assessed after January 15, 2020 and can be retroactive for violations occurring after November 2, 2015.
