Estimated Effects of the Better Care Reconciliation Act of 2017

The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) and Joint Committee on Taxation (JCT) have completed their estimate of the direct spending and revenue effects of the Better Care Reconciliation Act of 2017. The bill would increase the number of uninsured people by 22 million and reduce the federal deficit by $321 billion by 2026.
