Guardian: Digital ID Cards Coming Soon

More employees want digital access to their benefits — and Guardian can help your clients meet those expectations. Over the next few months, Guardian will be notifying dental and vision customers that they are moving all future ID card requests to digital ID cards. 

 

Here’s what that means:

  • Employees won’t need to wait for a physical card to be mailed to start using their benefits.
  • Their digital ID will always be up-to-date (unlike paper cards).
  • There's no need to worry about losing and replacing a paper ID when their digital ID lives on their mobile device.

 

For customers who provide employees’ email address with their enrollment files, Guardian will send an email with a link to their digital ID card when employees request a new or replacement ID card. Customers who do not provide email addresses will be receive a flyer they can share with employees that offers instructions on how to obtain their ID card.

 

Don’t worry — customers who have employees who prefer a paper ID can still request one.
