Health Net: New Maternity and Family Planning Webpage to Launch April 2025

Health Net will launch a new Maternity and Family Planning webpage this month to inform members about Health Net's pre- and postpartum care programs. The webpage also includes how to enroll in programs like: 

• Individual Doula Program (in person & virtual)
• Virtual Doula Program with wraparound services by Mahmee
• Start Smart for Baby
• Lactation benefits

What you need to know

• Benefit availability: These programs are available at no cost to eligible commercial members.
• Out-of-State PPO members: Will only be eligible to access virtual doula services provided by a California-registered doula.
• Mahmee: Provides limited in-person services in select counties. Members must contact Mahmee directly to inquire.
