Health Net Provides Clarification on ARPA 2nd Chance and CalCOBRA

Health Net previously provided you with information regarding the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) of 2021 which subsidizes 100% of both federal COBRA and Cal-COBRA premiums, including applicable administrative fees, for eligible individuals from April 1, 2021 through September 30, 2021.  

This is a clarification that ARPA eligibility is limited to Cal-COBRA members who are currently in a Cal-COBRA plan or are within their election period of 60 days from the loss of group health coverage.

What is Health Net doing?

Health Net will be mailing Cal-COBRA members additional information about APRA. If members are not eligible for ARPA coverage, they may be able to receive coverage through Covered California or Health Net's IFP plans.
