Multiple Rite Aid pharmacy locations are closing across various regions. This change may impact some of your clients who have recently had their prescriptions filled at these locations.
Key Information
- Health Net members who had their prescription(s) filled at a Rite Aid pharmacy within the past 90 days will receive a notification letter about the closure.
- Prescription records have been transferred to a nearby pharmacy, which may or may not be in-network for the member’s plan.
- Members are encouraged to call the number on their prescription bottle to hear a recorded message with the updated pharmacy location.
- Members may refill their prescriptions at that pharmacy or at any pharmacy within their plan’s network

- Three in-network pharmacy options
- Instructions to locate other in-network pharmacies

Prescription transfer options
Members can transfer their prescriptions in the following ways:
- Visit the new pharmacy with their prescription number or medication details.
- Ask their doctor to call the prescription into an in-network pharmacy.
- Request a new prescription from their doctor and take it to an in-network pharmacy.
