Health Net Underwriting Updates Effective July 1, 2019

Health Net has made three underwriting updates effective July 1, 2019:

1. "Newly Established Groups" has been renamed "Startup Groups"
2. A Startup group with 6 or more active subscribers had to provide 4 weeks of Payroll prior to coverage effective date, now, 2 of those 4 weeks can be after coverage effective date
3. Change to "Spin-Off Requirements":Was: A minimum of 2 weeks of payroll, however, those groups who have more than 2 weeks of payroll are required to submit any available payroll up to a maximum of 6 weeks.Now: A total of 4 weeks of payroll, with a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the effective date of coverage.
