IRS Announces 2026 FSA, Transit & Parking Limits

The IRS announced increases to the 2026 FSA, Transit and Parking limits in Revenue Procedure 2025-32.
- Healthcare FSA annual contribution limit increased to $3,400 from $3,300
- Healthcare FSA maximum carrier over amount increased to $680 from $660
- Commuter monthly maximum increased to $340/month from $325/month
Previously announced 2026 limits:
- Health Savings Account annual contribution limit increased to $4,400 for individuals and $8,750 for families, up from $4,300 and $8,550, respectively
- Minimum deductible for HDHP coverage increased to $1,700 for individuals and $3,400 for families, up from $1,650 and $3,300, respectively
- Maximum out-of-pocket for HDHP coverage increased to $8,500 for individuals and $17,000 for families, up from $8,300 and $16,600, respectively
- The Dependent Care FSA limit increased to $7,500 per year from $5,000 per year
